Recently I have had some issues with the battery in my laptop not wanting to charge.  The battery is fine when I have it plugged in but when it is plugged in it won't charge.  If I let the battery fully die out I can't get it to charge at all.

I have tried removing the battery and shutting things down and holding down the power button to flush the power but that didn't work.  I have tried putting the battery back in when the computer was still on but that only lasted for an hour or two.  I have tried two different batteries thinking that was it was an issue with the battery but I still had the same issue.

I have also updated the BIOS but that didn't do anything.  I will try and update it again and see if there is an update I have missed but are there any other things I can try?

Thanks

Have you checked the output of your power supply and uninstall, reinstall the ePower Management Application? Your battery could also be bad.

As for the battery I have put that battery in a another Aspire 570 and it works fine.  I still get the same issue even if I switch out the battery.
