Swithch 10: Turn off the touch screen and rotation?

OK, that was interesting.

I have an OTG cable to a 7-port USB hub. In the hub, I have a full size keyboard, mouse, 24" monitor along with LAN and Printer. All works well with the windows settings for 2nd Monitor only so the Switch screen blanks out. The Fn+F5 works to switch between the local and 24" screen. BUT - the touch always remains on even though the local screen has been toggled off.

I was watching a youtube video on the tips and tricks with the Switch and grabbed it by the top right corner to remove it and suddenly the browser shut down.

That's when I realized the touch was still active.

Is there some way to turn off touch?

Also, is there some way to disable the rotation when the local screen is blanked?

Seems like pretty basic stuff for a 2-in1. Well, to this old programmer anyway. Smiley Happy

    FerryAnoid,

You can turn on the screen lock with these steps:

    1. Open your Charms bar, then tap on Settings.
    2. Tap the Screen icon.
    3. Tap the screen rotate icon to lock your screen. Do the reverse to unlock and enable screen rotation.

As for touch, there is no way to disable it without uninstalling the driver from within the Device Manager. I apologize and hope this helps.
