Iconia W700p & Bluray movies

Hi

I'm currently struggling playing movies on Bluray discs on my Acer Iconia W700P.

All drivers are installed & up-to-date.

The Bluray player is an external USB3-device from Samsung. It is recognized and other discs (e.g. DVDs, Audio or Data-DVDs etc) work fine.

Some Bluray software (e.g. Aurora Blu-Ray Player) do start and play a few Bluray movies. But mostly, there appears an error message about movies not beeing found or the movie starts with audio only

Common software, as WinDVD or PowerDVD does not even start. After starting the software, its logo appears, and after the logo - instead of the application's GUI - an error message appears "no VGA driver found".

Is there a possible workaround to get this working?

Two things that might be related to your issues... If the drive is beng powered off your USB port it might just not have enough oomph to work the bluray. Try either external power on the drive or external power on a hub. You might also not be running the latest HD 4000 drivers. I see Intel released new graphics drivers today that might be worth looking into.
