    make the USB pen bootable, copy that files and try, but i'm not sure you will able to boot it.

     

    i'm curious.

     

    jsut remember that your new HDD must be with raw data, that means not formatted, to successfully re-install from recovery.

    I can only copy the partition but maybe when its done i might be able to extract the files from the usb pen and make the pen bootable etc. but i'm going to try to boot from the usb pen when I copy'd (cloned) the partition. see if that works...

     

    and it's a virgin hdd drive so that should be no problem

    okay... so i tried booting from the files from the recovery partition no luck also tried making the usb pen bootable and my bios is doing the same thing as the first time pausing everything until i pull out the usb pen... Capture.PNG

    this is a screenshot of the files on the recovery disk i'm guessing there is something corrupt about them since they're a copy of my recovery disk that's probably corrupt in some way (so acer recovery doesn't find it) and i'm getting pretty ticked off Smiley Happy any suggestions?
