I cannot get WI FI after having my A500 Tablet repaired with a new MAINBOARD A500 8S NVIDIA TEGRA.

I have confirmed with my internet server that everything is fine on their end and 3 I-Pads and an I-Pod can pick up and use the WI-FI without any problems, but I show out of range within 14 inches of the modem and with each foot further away I go I have no WI-FI connections that are not out of range. Currently after working with the internet server I have 5 connections available. A connection may show with one of the WI-FI connections but the strength is poor and shows no blue strength but instead shows a padlock and it looks like exclamation mark. Please someone help me know how to fix this or how to get through to ACER REPAIRS who just returned my tablet 3 days ago and in the process of getting it back my warranty has expired and I cannot get any person to talk to me. HELP!!!!  OutbackAnnie
