How do I acces the hard drive of my Acer Aspire One netbook on another laptop via my network?

Hello,

So I had my new netbook connected to my network some time ago.

It was either on or in sleep (don't really remember it)

I was cleaning up my Toshiba notebook when I suddenly saw a new drive in my windows explorer called 'Acer F:'

I was able to access the drive and delete or change stuff.

I figured it must have been my netbook because it's the only Acer product in our house.

My question to this is how did the notebook manage to do it (share it's hard drive through my network) because from that moment i've tried somewhat everything but nothing makes the drive pop up again...

I hoped someone around here could help me with this....

Regards,

Boy

Without more information, I am unable to say exactly why you would have an Acer F: drive on your Toshiba notebook. Generally, to share drives and files from one computer to another, you must manually go in and setup a network, then share the folders you wish to share.
