Aspire Switch 10 32GB+500GB Information Request

I think that I found the elusive 32GB Switch 10 with 500GB HDD in the keyboard on the Costco website: http://www.costco.com/Acer-Aspire-Switch-Touchscreen-2-in-1-%7c-Intel-Atom-.product.100126572.html

REALLY tempting.... BUT can anyone explain to me how the 500GB drive works with the tablet?  Specifically:

1) can you store apps on the HDD or just the SSD?

2) what if you are using just the tablet portion without the keyboard connected?  Can you access what is stored on the keyboard if the two pieces are not physically connected?  (Can they "talk" via bluetooth or wifi if they are in close proximity?)

Also, I have been doing some research about expanding the SSD with a removable flash card.  According to what I could find online, Windows 8.1 does NOT let you save apps to the removable card.  Going back to my first question above: Does the HDD have the same issue?

I'm not convinced that the 32GB SSD will be sufficient to do much after Office is installed.  Someone convince me that the 500GB HDD is the solution ;-)

Thanks in advance!

     From CNet review: http://www.cnet.com/products/acer-switch-10/

"In contrast, the Switch 10 uses a powerful magnetic catch that connects two prongs on the top of the hinge to two openings on the bottom edge of the tablet screen. A small connective strip between the prongs forms the electrical connection between the keyboard and the screen -- unlike some hybrids with a Bluetooth connection, the screen and dock need to be physically connected to work together."

When they are physically connected I imagine you can use the 500gb as you want.

When you install office it askes where you want to install it.You might be able to install it to the 500gb.

    And for the 32gb problem:

"Windows 8.1 allows you to customize your device’s default save locations. With this feature, you can store your media files on your Micro SD card by default"

Thanks so much for the response, but....

    1) the cnet review you cite is for the previous generation of Switch 10 (SW5-011 series, SSD only), not the model about which I am inquiring (SW5-012 series, option to have SSD or SSD+HDD)

    2) I asked about app storage on the hdd, not file storage.

I truly do appreciate the effort, but both my questions remain unanswered.  Anyone else have any other insights?

I realize with a product so new, reviews just may not be available.  Hopefully someone out there has first-hand knowledge about this configuration!
