Are there other threads on this issue? I'm not able to locate them. I see that FPS dropping when a charger is plugged in has caused other people issues on the web, and you're right, fixes seem to be rare. One post I found has a user going to AMD VISION CONTROL CENTER and disabling Turbo mode. If that doesn't fix it, I would suggest backing up and restoring the system.

Searches for V5-552G dropping frames when the AC Adapter is plugged in is not returned any usable results.

Also, does this continue if you restart the game?

    Thanks,
    Cory

Yes it continues if I restart the game, and its not only with 552G also the other 552 models.

    Here are 2 threads:

    same issue

under the comments of the threads you can see other users with the same problem.

And yes, other laptop manufacturers had the same problem, all fixed now.

Already tried to restore the system, and disable turbo boost.

    Hi Guys,

As an update, I'm working to replicate the issue. I'll provide an update as soon as I have more info.

    Thanks,
