Problems installing apps on SD card of Acer Z110

Hello, I have an Acer z110, APN v1.260, Android 2.3.6, kernel 2.6.35.7, build Acer_AV023_Z110_1.006.00_WW_GEN1S.

I have already configured the "preferred install location" for applications as "removable SD card", but every time I try to install sth it tries to go to internal memory (not even the internal SD card...) and fails saying that there's not enough memory. I have about 5MB available on the internal SD card and 32GB on the external SD card and can't use either !!!!

Can anybody help me please?

Many thanks in advance!

    justmebe2013,

I apologize you are unable to install your apps to the external or internal memory. It sounds like you may not have enough internal memory. I would suggest removing or deleting some items from your internal memory to install. Another problem may be that the app you are trying to install may not support your version of Android.

I found several search results on the web from Android how-to forums that may be helpful as well. Try searching "install apps to external SD card in Android".

Maybe another member on the community may have more information about how to save Apps to your external SD card.

even setting to "install app to SD", only some files are installed on SD, the biggest part will be installed on internal storage.

this happens also to "moving app to SD".

the only solution is to root and use an application "link2SD" but we can't give instruction or talk about that on the community board.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
