I am running Windows 7 64bit.....the touch screen just stopped working recently. I have not upgraded or downloaded anything. The calibration info is still in the settings but it can't be used. Please can anybody help?

It is recommended to try the following steps and see if that resolves your issue:
    1. Go to "Start" menu and go to "Control Panel"
    2. In the Control Panel, go to "Tablet PC Settings"
    3. Under "Tablet PC Settings", go to "Setup". Now, tap your touch-screen twice to identify it as a touch-screen.
    4. No, click on "Calibrate" and follow on-screen instructions to calibrate your touch-screen.

If the issue still persists, you may need to reset your computer to Factory Settings. You can do this by either using your backup disc (if you have one) or by using Acer Recovery Manager. To know how to do this, you can refer to the following Acer support page:

If the issue still persists, you may need to contact Acer tech support for further assistance. This link can be useful:

I have done ALL of the things suggested and NONE of them have worked.I contacted Acer Technical Support who have said that I can send it for repair but as it is out of warranty it would actually be cheaper to buy a new system :-(
