good day ,i have a aspire V3-772G win7 i just had a little problem with keyboard there were a combination i should use which is w a x and x was not working when i hit w a anyway

i just searched about this at forums and found solution about it by someone who had same problem and solved his problem by updating bios http://community.acer.com/t5/Notebooks-Netbooks/Acer-V3-772G-keyboard-problem/td-p/131977

i just downloaded bios from there and started it warned me about dont do that / dont do this while updating everything okay from start to this point then i just clicked accept and waited few seconds after ive seen '' default boot device missing or boot failed insert recovery media and hit any key ....'' then i presed ok then it brings page ''boot manager'' there says use up and down to change option, enter to select an option.. up and down do nothing at all and when i press enter it brings same page

btw i searched at my another laptop about this keyboard problem and find out that its actualy normal at acer laptops no 3 key combinations which i shoked about it ....

so i just stuck at here from one little problem to this madness

(also i did nothing wrong during starting bios like sting down laptop or remove/put usb)

what should i do now ?? i dont wantto format my pc cause im a graphic designer and most of my works were in laptop and half of them ar not saved on my external disk losing /c will be like getting shoot from forehead to me ...

thx for help...

shutdown your notebook then power ON pressing and tapping F2.

this will boot to BIOS, i think something was resetted to default after BIOS flash and need to be re-set.

First of all, check if HDD and SSD are recognised by BIOS under Information tab.

then i would Reset to default, under EXIT tab, choose Load setup default, press F10 and save / exit BIOS

    try to boot

at information tab i see that it shows hdd0 model and and serial number but hdd1 name and number are none

there was also /d which i made to protect folders if i hav to format pc is that hdd 1 is /d ??

ive not seen smting there with ''SSD'

i did load setup default and exit bios but its still same

default boot devices then empty boot manager and when i click esc no bootable device -- please restart system.

is that means hard disk died ? everything was perfect with pc didnt even had a single problem all that time... why the **bleep** i just tried to update bios....

You notebook model have 1 HDD and 1 SDD, if in BIOS only HDD0 is available and HDD1 has no model name and serial number, this is not good.

    contact Acer support service.

if you can post the model (not the serial number) that appear on HDD0, i can tell you if it's SSD or HDD.

one thing that can happen is that HDD was password locked after the BIOS flash, but must be visible on BIOS.
