Help, please! My Acer Aspire 5750-6834 doesn't recognize it's own integrated webcam! I called Acer and they told me to restore the laptop to factory deafaults (after checking a whole whack of things to no avail), even though the laptop is new! I restored it, and still no webcam! It is there, I can see it - and the product description lists it as being there, but the computer itself tells me I have no webcam!! I am not sure what to do next! I went back to the store where I bought it and they wouldn't help me, tol me to try Acer, which I did, but that didn't help either!

Thanks, in advance, for your input!

Possibly the cable to the webcam became disconnected in shipping to the retailer? Dosn't happen very often, but it does happen. The only thing I can think of is have an Acer tech check it out to see if it needs to be plugged back in, or at most, replaced. Call the techs back and see what they can do about troubleshooting further. Also, see if you can download the latest drivers off of the support website to see if that does the trick.
