So I have a M3-581T and just performed a Clean install of Windows 7 due to a crash of windows - For some reason i decided to format the hidden SSD drive to unallocated space during the install. So I have a couple of questions, and I hope they make sense:

What format should the hidden 20 gb SSD be?

Can the OS be installed on the SSD? And will it be faster than installing it on the HDD? (Right now it is installed on the HDD, but I could redo the install if that is better).

Have I by formatting the drive erased important drivers/programs that is used for the crosstalk between the SSD and the HDD, and if so, can I replace them somehow? Or find alternatives?

What actions should I take to optimize the performance of my computer?

My computer works fine atm (not very fast during booting) but I just want to know how to get the most out of it. I am also aware that it is not a very powerfull machine in the first place.

Thank you in advance
