I just received my new windows tablet. It is brand new.

I can't get it started.

As instructed, I plug in the charger, connect it to the tablet, press the power button. NOTHING.

Do I need to wait for the tablet to be charged ? The instruction does not say so.

Please advise.

    Thank you.

I'll keep the charging on and see what happens.

At any rate, this situation is not normal. I have had computers, android tablets, there was always some power in the battery. Never had a brand new device with drained out battery.

The tablet is now powered on.

    Just finished the setup.

Need to get use to it.

Not exactly like my Win 8.1 Pro laptop.

Question : what to do to replace "right click" option ?

    Thank you.

Actually, I found that out the hard way.

Right now I have to wait for the tablet to finish 110 Windows Update.

Whiler it is downloading, I have another question.

The tablet comes with MS Office Home and Student 2013. A product key also comes with it.

It is listed in Program and Features.

However, I can't find it in Apps window.

How do I locate it ?

    Thank you.

Oh. Never mind. I've found it.

I should start looking and stop asking.

    Sorry.

Hey, no problem. You are allowed to answer yourself here. Smiley Happy

Typically the last tablet in stock means they have had it sitting around long enough to fully discharge the battery...
