Lost 10-Key Keypad on Acer Aspire 7741Z-4633

On my Acer Aspire 7741Z-4633 17" with full keyboard and includes the 10-key pad on the right side.
I recently replaced the hard drive and installed a fresh copy of Windows 8.1 Pro.  Everything is loaded and works fine with the 10-key exception.
My system came pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium.

What steps do I need to take without backward installing via recovery (opinion: an unreasonable expectation from Acer $39), to restore the right side 10-key key pad?
Which Windows 7 64bit installable driver file will re-engage this function on my machine?

Thanks,
apexadam

    I figured it out.  #stupid
Solution:  Depress Numlock to activate the 10-key toggle between arrows or numbers.

    LOL.  Assumed everything else first.

    I win.

  • Try updating your keyboard driver

  • Also go to Ease of Access Center/Make the Keyboard Easier to use, and make sure "turn on mouse keys" is not checked.

I was unable to find the specific driver link for Win8.1.  Do you have a link for the keyboard driver?
