Anyone else having basic stupid problems with Acer service?

Have you sent your computer to the service because of a software problem and received it back with damaged screen? Because after all my warnings and labels and notes to the service, the computer has been returned to me in a crappy box, there was not even a fragile label on the box and of course it was damaged.

I don't want to send it to them because they will either send me another refurbished computer or damage it more.

    Hi,

I apologize you received your unit back damaged. In the US we are self insured and we'd be glad to help you get this resolved. Of course to do that, our tech support team would need to create a new repair and have it come in, but there are some things we can do to speed up the process and prevent it from happening again. Feel free to send me a message and I'll be glad to ask our Level 2 team to give you a call and see how they can help get this taken care of.

As far as the packaging goes, I've got a few pictures that I hope address some of those concerns. Our repair centers put a lot of work into having packaging that is as safe and secure as possible while factoring in things such as enviromental waste and of course cost.

The repair center uses a Korrvu air seal packaging that suspends the notebook. This reduces the need to additional packaging and prevents that packaging from applying pressure to the notebook itself. The boxes used to are doublewalled and certified to hold specific weight and protect against edge crushing. Of course, with this said, things can happen in shipping and we'll be glad to correct it if/when that happens. I'm including a few pictures below.
