Acer aspire 5552notebook with TV and monitor issues Win7 64 home premium

I have a two part question for the community,

First,

When connected to the vga port on my acer aspire to my LG 42" plasma I recieve a good connection, shortly after the TV goes to a 'no signal'. Is there a possible CCC option that I am missing, or possibly a display issue? In sound display stating hdmi not plugged in when in fact it is? I have all the TV specs in the optioning of both the catalyst, sound, and display settings.

All acer drivers for this machine are updated and current.

I had both the hdmi and vga connection working twice, but upon set startup next attempt to access notebook I had issues?.. this also happens via an hdmi connection?..

Second,

I have a Dell E196FP monitor that I am trying to interface. My display interface detects this monitor ,but I am unable to view the notebook display. I am using the recommended settings.  Why is the Windows 7 home premium 64bit OS on my acer machine(aspire 5552 notebook) having so many issues with external monitors and TV connections? I see many posts online with many of the same issues I am having..

I have been a Windows user and advocate for many years, but I can see where new notebook users are switching to Mac..

Thanks in advance,

jimijams

    Community team,

Additional troubleshooting as solved my Dell monitor E196FP issue. Went online and got resolution specs for monitor. Max resolutionspecs 1280x1024 75Hz applied to ccc mt vga properties. Monitor now up and operational. 1 issue resolved..

Still troubleshooting LG 42 plasma hdmi & D-sub 15 pin issue. Will keep all posted..

    jimijams..

p.s. download from acer original ATI mobility Radeon HD 4200 series needed also. Windows driver update to newer driver does not work. Recommend downloading drivers from acer download drivers site..
