Bluetooth not in device manager

I recently updated my bluetooth driver which I downloaded from Acer website. After the installation and reboot bluetooth device no longer shows in device manager. I have tried using the keyboard command to turn it on. doesn't help. I have tried to connect to bluetooth devices, Iconia can't find any devices. The O/S is Win7 32bit sp1. I have been searching the internet and the only reason and fix I find is after SP1 is installed this could happen. The fix was to install a newer driver. Again which I did, and it didn't help.

Thanks

Mike

Under Device Manager, click on View and enable "show hidden devices".

    BT is listed?

    Have you installed other drivers?

sometimes this happens when a drivers conflict appear.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
