Flicker free / No PWM backlight laptop

Hi,

For some reason, the screens with LED backlights that use PWM in order to dimm the screens, produce me severe eye strain and nauseas. It's not something usual, but it seems I'm not the only one with this problem.

My quiestion is if Acer produces any loaptop with a screen that doesn't use PWM. Ideally in with 15" display but 17" would be acceptable too.

PWM explanation: http://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/pulse_width_modulation.htm

Thank you!

I am also prone to headaches and eye strain from displays using PWM.

Thus, I would also be greatly interested if Acer offered such a laptop.

I do not have a listing of the backlight technology in all systems. If you can provide me a few models that interest you, I can check to see what type of back lighting they use.

Flickering of PWM backlight can cause headaches and eyestrain. Manufacturers should know it, and don't use PWM for dimming backlight.

Can you check if some of Acer S7 don't use PWM, or use it with very high frequency?
