Why wont Acer refund me

Case ******

I purchased one of your laptops on 14th April 2012.

 

 

After returning it for repair on 4 occassions, spending many hours waiting around for couriers. Acer agreed to offer me a full refund (letter from Acer dated 14/12/12) by the fact that under Acer obligations under the terms and conditions of warranty Acer could not repair or replace it.

 

As requested I sent my proof of purchase / bank details and returned by letter on the 14 the December 2012.

 

On the 3rd January 2013 I sent a second letter (by recorded delivery) again - containing proof of purchase and my bank details.

 

 

Acer now have my laptop and I have no refund to the amount of £349.99. ....Win win position for ACER!!!!!!

 

I rang to find out a customer support phone number....and was told there was not one and could not be given one. I asked for the phone number of a Complaints Department....I was told there wasnt one and that I could not be given one.

 

 

Acer have an extremely poor name when it comes to Customer Service and dealing with legitimate complaints. Acer make it as difficult as possible to sort out such a problem as this.
