I recently formatted my Aspire v3-771G and it brought some problems I haven't had before.

When I try to update Clear.fi Media it crashes (BSOD).

When I try to start Dolby Home Theater it crashes also (BSOD).

Tried to repair the installs Acer eRecovery Management - didn't work.

can you please check on Device Manager if there is any Yellow exclamation mark?

Your VGA drivers are the latest?

can you report BSOD screen log?

    I'm not an Acer employee.

Ok since this looks like a dead end, can somebody tell me what alternative program I can use to play my movies? KMP and MPC are not working.

Or better yet, does Acer still do online support? All I can find is phone numbers.

Have you tried to download clear.fi from acer website?

    http://www.acer.com/clearfi/download/

I downloaded it but that program is just a network sharing application, it can't actually play any media

It turned out that the Intel VGA driver was broken so I updated it. The failure was Igdkmd64.sys.

    (Problem partially solved)

Now I am still unable to use Clear.fi Media (install file broken) and the link here is out of date. Acer removed the software bundle that had Clear.fi Media....

I get this lovely message when I try to reinstall Clear.fi Media from Acer eRecovery Management
