Cannot Stream Live Video

I have a Acer P5we0 with 4 gig memory and 64 bit Win7. I can watching Youtube video and other videos however when I try to stream local news broadcast, tie video is choppy and freezes a lot. I can do this from other devices I have but not from this PC. I want to replace my cable service but need to be able to stream the news and this is the only PC i have that has HDMI.

Will more memory help? Any suggestions from anyone?

    Unlikely.

What is the news link? What other devices are you using?

Other devices are, iPad, droid tablet, desktop pc all of which work fine. It did start working after the pc was on (desktop only) for about a half hour. then it was fine.

What started working? What was fine? Are you talking about the desktop only? What is the link to the news stream?

After booting up the pc and letting it set with just the desktop up for 15 minutes, I can then open ie and go to my link www.myfoxdetroit.com/catagory/239906/live-stream-2 and it works fine.

I should also note that during the 15 minutes the hard drive is is almost solid.

OK, good. Sounds like you got it resolved. I was confused by the term pc as it could mean either the laptop and/or the desktop.
