I ran ACER Backup Manager to create a complete image of my drive for recovery purposes but the process failed while creating a bootable disc on DVD upon completion of saving a disc image of C drive.  The msg is displayed "The Acer Backup Manager has stopped working . A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.  However, nothing is displayed from Windows to notify of a solution after waiting for some time.

In my 2nd attempt to create the bootable disc on CD using Bootable disc Creator under Tools (ACER Backup Manager). The task failed almost toward the end with the message " Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library displaying error msg Runtime error Program: C:\Pr..  This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusal way. Pls contact the application support team for more information.

Another question for you, please.  What is the main difference between Acer Backup Manager and Acer eRecovery Management ?  I am more than confused as to which option I should adopt for my backup and restore purposes.

I have an Acer Aspire 4743 laptop running Windows 7.

Would appreciate your further advice and assistance.   Thanks
