I am having an issue with my frends 2480 travelmate laptop, here is the problem. I factory reset windows vista for him and updated all the updates and install chipset driver and Texas instruments OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 Host controller. I know the Texas instruments OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 Host controller is install because I have the software in his remove program in control panel. I still have a yellow mark in device manager under Mass Storage controller and Texas instruments OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 Host contriller.

Thanks for any help!

Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

Where you see the Yellow exclamation mark, double click it, choose "Details" tab, from the dropdown menu choose "HardwareIDs", click the first string and copy/paste here.

    I'm not an Acer employee.
