H276HL does not display HDMI properly

My monitor does not display with HDMI properly. It shows a black boarder around my desktop even though it is saying it is in 1080p. DVI interface works, but HDMI does not. I have also noticed some problems with motion blur in some games, mainly FIFA 14. Players look blurred when the camera moves faster than normal. What is wrong with this monitor? I am thinking of returning it.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit with an HIS HD 6950 with latest amd drivers, Catalyst 14.7

    Gustavo666,

From what I can see the problem is not with the monitor but a possible setting in your Catalyst settings. I found a similar article and they advise to set "overscan" to 0%. This can be found by going into Desktop and Display" tab, right click on your main display and select configure..., you should find a Scaling options tab.

Here is the article that I found similar to your experience with the black border: http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/284642-33-black-border-scrren-5770-hdmi.
