Locked out of C drive, windows installer not working properly - help please.

I set up two users on my laptop with me as the main administrator/user. I then had problems downloading files on my back up hard drive from my main PC to the laptop so removed the users hoping to solve the problem. I managed to sort out access to the back up hard drive E but can not access my main C drive and some of my programs do not now start because of Windows access problems.

 

Windows installer does not work and trying to download fix-it programs from the internet results in error downloads. 

 

I have no access to "User Acconts and Family Safety" in the control panel and Troubleshooter does not work.

 

My laptop is an Aspire 5560G

 

Can anyone help please?

You will require an administrator account to make changes to Users. 

 

From what account did you remove the other two User accounts?

Can you login with that account?
