I have a black screen and the Input Not Supported message floats around on the screen. I have a V223HQL monitor from Acer. What is the ideal screen resolution?

    Thank you for the reply.

I tried 1024 by 768  and this setting did not solve the issue i.e. I get the "input not supported message".

I tried 1920 by 1080 and this setting also did not solve the issue.

On the same computer and on a different computer I can get the monitor to work in safe mode.

I can get the monitor to work in VGA mode or on the VGA setting.

Do you or anyone else have an further suggestions.

Thank you again for the response.

Here is my basic computer info...

Tech Support Guy System Info Utility version 1.0.0.2
OS Version: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 32 bit
Processor: AMD A6-5400K APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics, x64 Family 21 Model 16 Stepping 1
    Processor Count: 2
    RAM: 2264 Mb
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon HD 7540D, 768 Mb

Currently, I am running the computer under F8 start-up low resolution mode. If I want to run the computer in any other mode I must use safe mode. The low resolution screen does not say "safe mode"

    Driver File Details:

Graphics Adapter Driver: AMD Radeo HD 754oD

on Safe mode, uninstall the AMD ATI VGA drivers, then try to reboot in normal mode not safe mode.

This must force windows to use standard vga drivers, then you can download the latest AMD ATI VGA drivers:
