Acer Switch 10 Excellent but Power Connector is concerning

I purchased the ACER Switch 10 after researching tablets with detachable keyboards.  This is the best unit in this new class of full Win 8.1 tablets that resemble a 10" laptop with detachable keyboard.    Several things are impressive about the unit including its size and weight and the rugged way the screen attaches to the keyboard. Kudos to the designers.  I use it in this form 80% of the time with a 500G external USB drive thanks to the full size USB port - not available on many units in this class. My only concern so far is that the power adapter seems to be make weak connecton.   While it is very nice to be a small wall plug with no extra transformer block, the connector is small and does not have a solid fit to the power port.  It has a few times come loose stopping charging.  It does not appear to be of a design quality that will last as long as the tablet. The design would be greatly improved with a more firm connector, best would be magnetic to match the screen.  Also the wire cord could be more rubbery rather than thin plastic allowing easier and less tangled storage.   Dont let this minor nusiance however prevent you from buying the unit which is currently best of breed.

Personally, I would have to completely agree, and have a similar experience. My switch 10 is only 2 weeks old, I am a student and all of my text book reading gets done from this tablet. Already the power adapter is making intermittent connectivity. I actually have to check and verify the tablet is charging, even then the adapter will loose continuity while charging. This is highly frustrating and has kept me from both recommending this product to class mates and purchasing another Acer product.
