I am at a loss as to where to go next!

I purchased my Acer E1-572P-6403 in the end of March 2014 and received it the first week of April 2014. I started using it and noticed some issues with the left click button on the trackpad not working intermittently. I tried plugging in an external mouse and that worked fine. I also tried changing different settings to see if the issue would go away. No luck!

Once I went through some basic steps I contacted Acer support using their online chat option. They instructed me to re-install the driver. Of course it needed a reboot, so I had to be disconnected from the technician. I started using the computer again and experienced the same issue. No luck!

I then contacted another Acer online chat agent. They tried to tell me to re-install the driver, which I already did. They then instructed me to re-install or refresh the Windows 8 installation. I told them that was not needed and wanted a different solution. They gave me a "different" driver to use. I installed it and rebooted. Started to use the computer again and the problem was still there. No luck!

After that I took it upon myself to uninstall all of the trackpad drivers, remove the devices from the device manager, and any other trace of the trackpad. I re-installed everything and the issue came back. No luck!

Since my troubleshooting didn't work I contacted the online chat support again and got them to do a repair on my until. I sent the unit in and after 14 days I got it back and read the repair description. It said "Replaced hard drive. Reloaded System to Factory Defaults. Updated Bios. System passed extended tests." Despite of what the description said I turned the computer on and within 5 minutes of using it the same issue came back. No luck!

I found a number to call Acer this time. I spoke to them and they said they would do overnight shipment. After another 12 days I got the computer back (yesterday). This time the repair description was: "Reinstalled OS and updated BIOS. Unit passed all tests. Unit is fully functional." Again after 5 minutes of using the until the same issue came back. No luck!

I have been on the phone since then trying to get a refund for this lemon. No one is willing to help me. All that the technicians tell me is that I can send the unit back again and a "Senior" technician will evaluate it and do any necessary repairs. I want a guarantee that the parts will be replaced or I want my money back. All they say they can do is put down on the notes that I request that. I also tried contacting my retailer and they will not give me a refund. I am at a loss where to go!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
