Aspire E15 SDHC drive malfunctioning

Question

Aspire E15 SDHC drive is malfunctioning. Purchased 7/19/2014 -not a month old. Worked fine until yesterday. Insert card nothing happens. Card content doesn't open onscreen window and doesn't appear in PC list. Card(s) are functioning correctly -verified on other machines. Discovered if I apply pressure to card(s) when inserted, the drive reads and card appears in PC list as normal. Remove pressure and the drive stops reading card(s) and content window disappears from screen and PC list again. Blew the drive out with compressed air - no change. Apply pressure in direction of card insertion -functions. Remove pressure -nothing there. Very consistant. With a machine less than 30 days old, to me, it smells like a bad drive - espically as it functioned correctly for about 20 days. Any suggestions.

Yeah, it seems a faulty drive, contact your regional Acer support service.
