sorry for long reply my build version is Acer_AV061_V370_1.0040.00_WW+GEN1s upgrading to 4.2.2 using os from acer support page but ive got the zip so what do i do with it? ive had rooted the phone and install custom os but i didnt like but i never make my backup of mu original rom with was made exclusively for my carier with is 3GUK if you have a link to this rom it would do nicely since this was my original rom but i havent backup so i has to use the worldwide rom with i installed using CWM recovery. the rom i need has a buil number of Acer_AV061_V370_1.015.00_EMEA_3GUKs i seached for ages for this rom if anyone has this rom can i have a copy

Acer_AV061_V370_1.015.00_EMEA_3GUKs is not available to download, sorry.

    now you have  Acer_AV061_V370_1.0040.00_WW+GEN1s

and want to update to AV061.V370.1.007.00.WW.GEN1s

you must download frome Acer website the zip file, copy to a microSD, power off your E2, insert the microSD on the E2.

then start your E2, pressing Power button + Volume UP

in the next screen, move the cursor with Volume Down and select Recovery pressing Volume UP

it will appear the recovery (i hope you have the Acer default), when you see the android robot with an error, press the Power button.

select update from SDcard, select the .zip file and wait the update.

if the device is rooted, it can happen.

if is not rooted, there is something that is blocking the installation, like from build.prop or removed system applications.

what about if i removed root access would it cause a problem?

it depends from the root method.

in my opinion it's better if you flash a full stock rom back, but this cam't be discussed here.

    sorry

You need Acer stock recovery, not CWM.
