    Alpine,

I show that the Aspire V3-571G has an Acer Nplify 802.11a/g/n + BlueTooth 4.0. I dont show that is supports AC.

Is there a driver upgrade evolution of the Qualcomm Atheros AR5BWB222 to support 802.11AC in the works?

  • The Atheros AR5BWB222 is a dual band (2.4 and 5GHz) card supporting 802.11a/g/n. It is not possible to upgrade it to 802.11ac through software/firmware as the jump to 'ac' is a hardware issue.
