Hi! The model of the laptop - Acer Aspire V3-771G-73638G1TMaii, and I want to put into it SSD (mSATA!) - Plextor M6M (PX-128M6M) [SATA3]. The question is, how in addition to experienced (ie, before the purchase of the 2.5 HDD and SSD) I can check: 1) whether the port is connected to the mSATA SATA3? 2) if the system boot is supported with mSATA-drive? The whole point is, a quote from the chipset specs: "SATA 6 Gb / s support on port 0 and port 1. SATA ports 0 and 1 also support 3 Gb / s and 1.5 Gb / s" I checked: at the moment the factory HDD - on port 0 (the CD/DVD-drive - on the 2nd port). I have an empty slot, and I think it's - Port 1, yes? However, I want to connect to port 1 (or 0 - not important) to the mSATA, to connect the SSD [mSATA] for SATA3. And in another port (1 or 0) - to put more SATA3-HDD HGST Travelstar 7K1000 (HTS721010A9E630). Thus, my goal is to one of the two compartments (in which I put a new HDD) was 0-port, and mSATA - 1st. Or vice versa, it does not matter. Well, factory HDD, as he still SATA2 - go on, for example >= 3rd port (CD/DVD-drive, remember, on the 2nd port). In other words, it is necessary - to connect a new mSATA-SSD and 2.5" HDD - two SATA3-ports, and everything else to throw on SATA2. And that's all - not touching the CD/DVD-drive. Smiley Happy Thank you in advance for your help! (Sorry for by bad english...)
