help with unexpected_kernel_mode_trap error!!!

I just purchased an Acer Aspire M5-583P-6423 and after approximately 2 weeks of use, it gave me the blue screen of death and the message: UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP. This is the second windows 8.1 laptop that it happened on, so I contacted Microsoft as I thought it was a software error and they told me its $99 or 79 Euros to fix the problem, which is absurd. However, the representative did tell me it is a driver error and the acer representatives are offline right now. Can anyone point me to what it may be

 

NOTE: I currently do not have administrative permissions as I am out of the country and cannot receive access.

if you don't have administrative permissions it will be very hard to fix, since probably it's a bad driver or hardware problem.
