Hi guys,
I have a problem with my Acer Aspire V3-772G-54208G50Makk, it comes to webcam.
I bought Notebook in January 2014, was supplied with a Win8, but LAN (and WLAN) (after 10-15 min. goes off) , as well (safely remove hardware not worked ) My WD Passport Ultra. I have made update to 8.1, but without success. Then I decided to install Win7, and since February Win7 64bit ran perfectly.
Since few weeks I have problem that my webcam does not work (properly) ...
My problem: Cam turns on, and after one (or sometimes after few) seconds goes off.
I have also tried with Skype: Cam does not turn on (Video-Options). HD webcam is already selected but Cam does not turn on (only briefly, and then off again).
Two days ago I installed Win7 again (Clean Install), performed update, but nothing.
I also downloaded Webcam Viewer 1.0 to check Cam, but nothing...
Yesterday evening everything works properly, even with Skype! Today again does not work.
For example I can any time switch 1280 * 720 resolution 7fps in Webcam Viewer (almost always Cam works), but 640x480 30fps; 160x120; 176x144, 320x240, 352x288 does not work (offered resolutions). Yesterday evnening, every resolution had worked!!!???
I have also uninstalled and installed drivers few times, but didn't helped.
Webcam was properly recognized in Device Manager, as HD Webcam, Windows drivers:
1.ksthunk.sys (6.1.7600.16385), and
2.usbvideo.sys (6.1.7601.18208).
