I have the same problem trying to get my Dads Ase 380-ED 420A unit to run better. My nephew said the microsoft vista was taking more than 600MB only leaving 400MB for operational running. Is there nothing that can be done . If it already has 1GB ram?

Unfortunately, 1 GB of memory is the maximum supported by this system. What operating system are you running? You could always try removing unnecessary programs, or running recovery to make sure programs are not slowing the system down.
