Aspire 5333 - I need a mainboard

My Aspire 5333 blew up in smoke when I plugged into a Tv via a VGA cable not knowing that there was a short on the premises 220v power supply. We later measured a 110v short to earth. A plug bank with a pilot lights all glow half strength when plugged into the wall socket even when switches are off! Please help - where can I obtain the spares to effect my own repairs? I'm a camera technician by trade so it's a straight forward job for me and I don't wish to pay an exorbitant price for a repair!

If you really had a short-circuit fault there is a good chance that there are more components defective than the mainboard. What makes you think only your mainboard is the problem? However, there are some vendors out there: http://www.acerspareparts.com/8411_Acer-Laptop-Motherboard

Hi, thanks silizium, I have checked CPU and memory in another pc. Hard drive running in an external housing now so only DVD drive to check really - which won't be a problem anyway. Thanks for the link! I shall contact them!
