Only 16 months old. Windows 8.1. Device was on but sitting idle for an hour. When I returned the screen was frozen. Held the on/off till turned off. When turned back on, blue message No Bootable Device.

Turned off and turned on holding power and windows button till 3.7 SetupUtility window appeared. Information displays HDD0 None, HDD1 None, ATAPI None.

I am sorry to hear your HDD is no longer being detected in your W700. I understand this is only a 16 month old device but I can only suggest contacting technical support in your region. It sounds like the SSD had failed and needs to be replaced. You can contact service for cost of repair and/or order a replacement drive and have a certified technicial replace it for you locally.
