Acer Remote Files, AcerCloud and Passcode comments

When I first ran the Acer Remote app on my iPhone, I have to enter my AcerCloud password, which worked fine. I then went into Settings and and set up the passcode option. I created a passcode to allow access to Remote Files, which also worked fine - whenever I close the app or switch to another app, I need to enter the passcode when I go back to Acer Files - that is what I want.

 

However, when I go into Settings and log out of AcerCloud completely, then login again, it turns off the passcode option. I then have to turn it back on, and re-enter and confirm a new passcode (it does allow me to use my old one).

 

Is this a bug in the app? Would it not make sense to allow the user to keep the passcode, when logging in or out of AcerCloud?

I have asked the same question to the Customer Support and they said it is the app designed. It seems other apps also have the same appearance.
