How do you install eRecovery CDs on a netbook with no CD/DVD drive?

The eRecovery system implies that the user will be sent either CDs or a thumb drive with the software depending on the system.  Well I received CDs to install on my Aspire One AO722 netbook that does not have a DVD/CD drive.  So now what do I do?

well if you have the recovery disk then you should be able to get an external ODD and then run them after going into the BIOS and changing the Boot priority to boot from USB.

I figured I could do that but was trying to see if there was an alternative to adding to the cost of restoring the system after a hard drive failure.  If that's the only option I guess I will be making a trip to the store.
