Bad product

I purchased an Acer Aspire laptop and within a few months the hard drive went out. Acers customer support told me it was my OS but when I took it to Best Buy they checked and it was the hard drive. The comp was still under warranty so they sent it back to Acer and after several weeks I got my comp back. Within a week it messed up again. I went to turn the comp on and it made a terrible noise. After hours on the phone with them they tell me I can send it in for repair again. I think this is crazy. By the time I get it back this time my warranty will be close to expiring. Not to mention the time I have wasted and the fact that my hard drive will be cleared again losing all my programs. They need to take their customers seriously. They should give me a new product and throw this one in the trash! Never again will I buy Acer and I will make sure I tell everyone I know about this.

Why should the whole system thrown away? Hard drives sometimes go the way of all broken things, that's normal. It ever was. Replacing a hard drive isn't that hard. Even if the system had warranty I had replaced this part by myself. The money for sending it to Acer and the time you could not work with the device is to much. But that's only my view.
