"Auto Repair" Interminable LOOP

My system is an ACER all-in-one Model AZS 600G-UW10.  It is loaded with an updated WIN8.1.  I have owned and operated this computer for about 3 months and it has performed flawlessly.  I have attached, via USB, one 2TB Seagate and two 1TB Seagate hard drives, a Netgear router and a Brother laser printer.

A few nights ago I powered down without any problem.  The next morning it entered "preparing auto repair".  It continues to "diagnosing your PC" and then to "attempting repairs".  After a few seconds it restarts this process and continues until I turn off the computer.

I have tried several of the recommendations from several websites without any success. This includes the F8; alt key and F8; F10; F12.  None of these solutions have worked for me.  I even tried them after disconnecting all the addons from thr usb ports.

The only operation I can get to work is:  just as the POST begins I can alternate between F8 and DEL and the system will enter the BIOS. I can change and save anything in the BIOS.  I have not been able to enter "safe mode".

Any help would be appreciated.

Three failed boot attempts should allow Windows 8 to enter recovery mode. You can try powering the system on and letting it fail to boot 3 times to see if it will go into recovery mode. If it will not, my best recommendation would be to try reloading with recovery media.

If the system will not restore with recovery media, you may have a hardware problem. If this is the case, you would need to contact technical support to inquire about repair options.

I tried many times to find a solution. The only thing I could get into was the BIOS. I tried the recovery media and still could not get past the Auto Repair Loop. I purchases a new Win8.1 Disk and tried t install and could not get recovery to work and I just reinstalled the entire system and processed any updates. I then update all the apps. Since I do daily backups I then updated all my files and everything was returned to normal and has worked fine since then. Jim Holland
