New User and technical questions

Hello All, I am a new user to this Forum.  I purchased an ACER Aspire E1-572P-6403 laptop.  I have been very happy with it to date(only had it a week now).  I am one that likes to do upgrades however so I have already put an SSD drive on this unit and love how much quicker it boot sup.

 

A few other things I want to do with it:

 

1)  Find the Service manual: 

2)  The description says 8GB Ram is the maximum(I have 6GB now). but the processor(Intel I5-4200U) will accupt up to 16GB of RAM which is what I would like to do(and put a faster RAM if the MB supports it).

3)  this unit did not ship with a DVD drive.  In my last laptop, I had removed the DVD and put in an HDD caddy so I had a SSD for my C-drv and a 640GB HDD for data.  I would like to recreate that in this unit.

4)  Does anyone know where I can get the service manual for this laptop? 

 

I chatted with a nice fellow on the online chage (John Britto) but he was unable to provide me with the service manual.

 

Any Ideas?
