Problem with Acer X1340WH 3D

Hello,

we purchased this projector, but we are struggling to use some of the features.
This is the main reason i have registered to this support forum..

1. We connected USB stick, but this is not recognized by the projector, nothing comes up on the screen, and there is no option to show the USB on the screen.
2. How do i watch 3D on my newly purchased 3D projector? I connected the projector to my PC (since i cannot use USB) and it was showing the split screen mode. I turned on the 3D on teh projector, selected the horizontal split, and used my Samsung TV 3D glasses. I was pressing the button on the glasses, however absolutely nothing was happening.
Can you please let me know in detail how to use the 3D? What computer, player, glasses should i get?

Thank you, from a frustrated customer that paid for a 3D projector that cannot be used in 3D!

    As for the device not reading from your USB device I would recommend saving your files to the root directory of the USB drive or try another USB flash drive.

    thank you for the reply.

    For the 3D all clear now...

     

    But for the usb, it is totally unclear! The official acer support email, indicated that the USB port is just for service by ACER! The problem is that no option comes up on screen showing the usb option... It somehow ignores the USB input.
