Or NX.M74AA.009 vs NX.MMCAA.002 if you prefer SKUs.

Can someone with insight provide details on the differences between these two machines.

I can tell the 9820 has a slightly newer i7 and the GTX 850 vs GT 750. What I cannot figure out is:

- Which one built newer or improved other the other? Or are they the same chassais?

- Does the 9808 DDR3 or DDR5 RAM? And why does it have 4GB, when the "better" graphics card in the 9820 has less RAM?

- Does the 9820 have 2 x SATA HDD and a PIC-E mSATA port like the 9808 does? And can install windows on a SSD in the mSATA?

- I returned my 9808 because the ELAN touchpad is sensitive across the whole surface, meaning you cannot have a resting index finger ready to perform your mouse clicks, it causes the cusor to jump around, or register a "multi touch" gesture. Is the 9820 the same ELAN touchpad?

A lot of questions I know, but I'm hoping someone smarter than me will be able to answer!

The V3-772G-9808 looks to come with more system memory (12 GB) and has 4G-DDR3 video ram, where as the V3-772G-9820 comes with 8GB and 2GB-DDR5 video RAM. The V3-772G-9820 does come with a newer i7 than the other but I do not see a huge performance difference between the two; 3.3 vs 3.2 clock speeds.

Yes the products use the same chassis. The product also uses the similar motherboard. If the product does not ship with an mSATA device I cannot guarantee if the onboard port works.
