Liquid E1 from Europe

Hi everybody !

 

I bought a liquid garland e1 (model v360) in Belgium, Europa.

I tought i could use him in canada, where the signal are different, but i know he can work here.

 

But no, mon smartphone don't recognize the mobile network here.

 

Is that a permanent problem? I bought him 200 euro (+- 300 CAD) and it's painfull for me to think about getting a new one.

 

I hear about simlock, but, in belgium, they aren't, you can bought a smartphone and go to any provider without problem.

ps : english it's not my native language, i can speak it, but i have lots of spelling problem when i write it, sorry for that.
