Aspire 8735G-6502 Overheats

My Aspire 8735G-6502 overheats when playing video and will turn itself off sometimes.  Speccy indicates that the CPU is heating up to 92 C and hotter. When not playing video it runs around 70 C.

This computer has BIOS 1.03. I saw three different newer BIOS releases. Would any of these newer BIOS help this problem? I saw lots of cautions about not upgrading BIOS unless being sure the newer release was specific to the problem ocurring and only one release indicated the reason and it had nothing to do with overheating.

Anything else I could do on the hardware side if a newer BIOS is not the answer?

System changes since new: Win 7 Pro 64 and HDD is now a Hitachi 7200 rpm 1 TB (the old WD died). The overheating problem when playing vid has been going on before these changes and since. I just now have the Speccy data that confirms how hot it is getting.
