A1-810 Setup Wizard

Good morning, yesterday I had the bad idea to root my Iconia A1-810 using a tool that I found on the web.

Unfortunately my tablet was bricked and it didn't start.

So I decided to make a factory reset but it wasn't enough.

Now when I turn on, the setup wizard starts but when I choose the language, Setup Wizard go in error and I can't use my tablet.

Do you know some solutions?

How can I definitively restore my tablet to factory condition?

Thank-you so much

There's a chance you are choosing a language that's not installed. Was the tablet originally in your language or did you have to change to it?

The tablet suggests English (United States) and I choose Italian (Italia). I tried other language but in any case there is an error (probably the same written in different languages).

Only choosing a language with "idiomas" that I don't know,  other screenshot appears about use of keyboard.

At the and of this 4 screenshot it returns to language choice.

"Idiomas" is Spanish for "Language", according to my Google search (and they'd never lead me astray!). I'm afraid I'm going to suggest trying the install with 'US English'. If it also fails then we can go in any number of directions, but if it installs then we just need to change the language (which may or may not be easy).

You are right. I wanted to say "ideogram" instead of "idiomas". Some language like japanese or korean...

I tried also with US English but the problem is the same. "Unfortunately, Setup Wizard has stopped".

I think that this is caused by the attempt of "root" that went wrong. But I tought that the Factory Reset would solve everything.

Before doing "factory reset" did you unroot your device?

even if A1 can't boot, you can do it by fastboot or recovery, and it's better to unroot before doing a "factory reset".

Hi, how can I unroot in fastboot mode?

You need to ask that to the root author. Smiley Happy
