thats why i dont like acer products but try AC removed and the battery out, press and hold the power button for 60 seconds. Release and apply the AC power and see if it comes back

    Hi..

Connect the AC adapter and press the power button. Check if the power light blinks 5 times and goes off. If it does, the issue is with the AC adapter. In that case, you have to replace the adapter.

There can be several reasons for your laptop not turning on.

It is recommended to check the connection as most of the power-related issues are associated with errors in connection. Follow these simple steps to check the connection:
    1. Verify that the power cord is plugged into the AC adaptor completely. Make sure that  the adaptor fits well and isn't connected loosely.
    2. If you are using a surge protector, verify that it is powered ON.
    3. Consider using a different electrical point to cross-confirm if there is any fault in the point itself.
If this does not work, you can try the "power reset" option. Follow the steps below to perform a "power reset":
    1. Unplug the AC adapter from your laptop.
    2. Turn the laptop over to remove the battery. Slide the lock tab to the unlock position first, then slide and hold the release tab. While holding the release tab remove the battery gently.
    3. Turn the laptop back over and open it.
    4. Press down the power button for around 30 seconds and then release it.
    5. Now, turn the laptop over again and insert the battery in its original position.
    6. Slide the lock tab to lock position.
    7. Turn over the laptop and connect it to the AC adaptor.
    8. Power ON the connection and turn ON the laptop.
If this too doesn't work, there might be some issue with the battery. Still, before going any further, it is recommended that you visit the support page:
