Aspire One wont run from fully charged battery

I bought a used Aspire One D257 and it came with a 3 Cell 2200 mah battery. The battery has 14% wear so it will only power the Aspire for 30 mins when unplugged. I upgraded the BIOS to version 1.15, and also removed the battery and held the power button down for 2 mins in case these suggestions would fix the battery life. 

 

None of the tips worked, but now today the battery shows up as fully charged in windows, but when I pull the adaptor plug out or try and start it up it wont turn on. The battery led is blue and says its fully charged when the ac adaptor is plugged in, but it isnt giving any power.

 

Does anyone know whats wrong? I ordered a 9 cell nattery and IM afraid it wont work once it arrives

It seems to be an issue with the motherboard. You can check with Acer support team to have this laptop repaired.
